Design communication is an integral part of our day to day lives; and as new platforms and new media emerge, our show will explore the place and possibility of illustration practice in 2012.
Camberwell College of Arts plays a central part in London’s cultural landscape. Our work pushes at the boundaries of fine art and design communication and questions the role and application of illustration. It draws on a range of craft techniques, drawing skills and digital processes to produce a diverse set of outcomes from sculpture and three-dimensional work, through print and paint, to interactive and screen-based media.
During the week there will be various workshops and events, including the Sunday Market, where we will be holding a raffle of artists work to raise money for the charity Art Against Knives.
