  • RED GALLERY 1-3 Rivington Street London, England, EC2A 3DT United Kingdom (map)

In collaboration with Louche, Inverted Audio, Under-The Tree, Strum!, Flock, Bixon and Bassline Productions.

Stitch’s second birthday is coming up: that’s right, they are two years old and we’re going to be charging into our third year with a bang. We think that a good ol’ knees up of nimble dancing and sustainable thirst quenching are needed.

On Friday 29th March Stitch is hosting a very special event to celebrate our 2nd birthday: bringing together five of the best nights that London has to offer under one roof, to create one hell of a party and planting a target minimum 10,000 trees with the proceeds. This is partying with a purpose.

Live bands, courtesy of Strum! will kick the evening off at 9 pm moving through to DJs who will keep everyone partying until 4 am. Thanks to helping from our team of amazing collaborators: Bixon, Under the Tree, Inverted Audio, Flock and Louche the lineup is going to be pretty special

It took a while to find the perfect venue but you can't get better than Red Gallery – a fantastic blank canvas space located at 1 – 3 Rivington Street, in the heart of Shoreditch and just a short walk from Old Street. The venue is spread over two floors, has a capacity of four hundred and a proper smoking area out back.

The Stitch team & artists are working on a variety of design ideas for space and the boys from Bassline Productions, who also do Noisily Festival, will be taking care of the lighting and audio (Funktion One's, obviously) to make sure that everything looks and sounds spectacular.

A percentage of every pound spent at the bar and from ticket sales goes towards planting trees with partner WeForest. WeForest is an international organization dedicated to sustainable reforestation. Money raised from this event will go towards their tree planting project in Ethiopia which is geared towards stopping soil erosion and empowering single mothers and widows to be self-sufficient and pay for medical care.

Think we've covered everything? Not quite – Stitch is determined to prove that you can serve organic, ethically sourced drinks affordable. In light of this, the bars will be well stocked with a variety of different beverages all priced around the £5 mark.

What better could you be doing with yourself on the evening of Good Friday? Come and get loose with us and do some good for the planet at the same time. Simple.
