Dublin-born Paddy Casey, like the majority of Irish children, grew up with an ear for music, obtaining his first guitar at the same time as hitting double digits. The delights of busking and gigging soon followed and at the tender age of 24, scouted at the well known International Bar in Dublin by Sony A&R Hugh Murray led to a 3-day studio session, a signing and an album release of the session recordings called “Amen... So be it” which went on to sell huge numbers certifying double Platinum sales worldwide. ..The rest they say is history.
After a spell of touring the world with the likes of The Pretenders, Tracey Chapman, REM and Ian Brown, Paddy’s second album, ‘Living’ proved so popular (15 times platinum) that he felt compelled to tour it.
After so many years Paddy wanted to go back to his roots and the subsequent 2 albums have been recorded and finished
Paddy Cassey’s new album was mixed and recorded in his own house in Dublin, the single ‘Out of Control’ out in ...........with the new album.
