London's leading street food vendors are descending on Shoreditch to create an unrivaled street food experience at the Christmas EatMeUp from 6th-8th December at the Red Market, 288-299 Old Street, EC1.
From morning till late, street food fanatics will be treated to a culinary first. Punters can enjoy the best of street food from the likes of Street Kitchen, Tongue in Cheek, and Bhangra Burger, while also unlocking market secrets using the latest in street food technology - the HitMeUp iPhone app.
Using the app, traders will be able to communicate directly with visitors to the market, posting them a host of challenges, competitions, party tricks and giveaways. Examples include “Sing the entire Flower of Scotland for a free venison burger” (from the Wild Game Company) or a “Free burrito for anyone with a handlebar mustache” (from Luardos).
In addition to the food, visitors will be able to find that perfect Christmas present at stalls from local designers and retailers; Alternative London, the pied pipers of the East End, will be on site conducting street art workshops; Mulled wine, local brews and live music (including members of Riot Jazz and the Vagabond Trills) will complete the festive atmosphere.
